Covid-19: Battery Energy update

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) is having a significant impact on the lives of all Australians.

At Battery Energy Power Solutions, we’re doing everything we can to continue delivering power solutions as well as providing support to all of our staff and customers. We would like to update you on the evolving situation and the precautions we’re taking.

Our leadership team is meeting regularly during this unprecedented time and is closely following all advice received from the Department of Health and World Health Organisation to manage this dynamic situation.

How we look after our community

The health and safety of our clients, our staff and their families remain our utmost priority. We are implementing new measures, along with existing protocols in place to mitigate unnecessary risk. These are inclusive of, but not limited to:

• Educating our team on hygiene and other preventative measures in line with Government recommendations
• Ensuring hand sanitiser is readily available to all staff and clients within offices, warehouse and factories
• Being vigilant with hygiene standards ensuring all surfaces are cleaned with high-grade disinfectant
• Deploying working from home arrangements for staff where applicable
• Checking in daily with our staff to ensure they are healthy and well, and actively encouraging any staff or client who is feeling unwell to refrain from attending the office
• Requesting that unwell clients, suppliers or clients who have recently travelled, cancel, re- book for a later date or opt for a phone appointment to complete their work

Managing our supply and logistics

We want to reassure our clients that we are here to support you. While we have had a high demand recently, we have put measures in place to ensure our supply chain is robust and we have sufficient inventory ready to ship.

• Production through our Australian factory has not been impacted and its very much business as usual
• Our China factory is now back in full production
• As a result of the increased level of orders we are experiencing, there may be some minor short-term delays with a small selection of products
